I am the sole photographer of Dorothy Perry Photography. My clients wouldn’t have it any other way.
Ever since I picked up my own camera in 1979, I have followed my passion to photograph the “brief moments of meaning” that contains the energy of the occasion. Where light, gesture, and emotion come together in the viewfinder to make the perfect image.
Watching life unfold in all its’ imperfect beauty is intense, personal, and what gives me the most happiness in the world.
When I put my cameras down and my feet up, I am the mother to Miriam and Artist, who is an artist himself and the subject of Double Happiness, a blog about parenting from a spiritual perspective. We also have an unneutered black tomcat named Inky, who arrived Friday the 13th, fetches like a dog, and reigns as the free, spirit of our household.
If the way I work fits the way you would like to have your life photographed, contact me here to make a time to talk.
It’s personal. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
