As a wedding and family photojournalist who creates emotionally-rich images and portraits, I have always been interested in seeing where people hang or display them in their home. My friend Hope designed hers to accent her collection of fine and outsider art. Yasmine’s wedding photos are canvas prints. Victoria has her photos in her beautiful kitchen.
Until I begin shooting for couples with luxury vacation homes to decorate and massive, open wall spaces to display these talismanic photos really, really big, (and I’m going to be doing them, too!) I see that most of my couples keep them in the traditional family areas of the home, in collage frames or in smaller frames, on end-tables or on bookshelves. There are always interesting variations on the theme,
but—
what to do if you aren’t the type of bride who wants to have them hanging all around the house? Are you a DIY type of bride that put them someplace really original, like an iPhone or computer skin? This article from Martha Steward Weddings might inspire if you are open to trying something new. Or, like me, want to create something private and personal.

I am doing research, getting tips and new ideas to inspire new projects and will post some of the best ideas here.
What meaningful, unconventional memento have you created using your wedding photographs?
Would you share photographs of how you have decorated your home creatively using your wedding images?
Have you printed wedding photographs on an entirely new surface, like an neoprene iPhone or computer skin?
Thanks to everyone in advance for your shared posts and suggestions.
